I'm a graphic designer currently based in Los Angeles. My work has been featured by NPR, the New York Times and AIGA 50 Books/50 Covers.

Between 2015 and 2017, I worked for Eone, the startup behind the Bradley, an award-winning timepiece designed in collaboration with people who are blind. I've also worked with a range of independent publishers, including Tara Books, Enchanted Lion, Catapult, Restless Books and Conrad Editora.

I received an MFA in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2013. I was born and grew up in São Paulo, Brazil, and hold a BA in Journalism from the University of São Paulo.

I'm available for freelance work and would love to hear from you! Feel free to get in touch at j.yamakami [at] gmail.com
